Who wears short shorts

Its all in the details with this look! I am super obsessed with this necklace and this bracelet! They are so versatile and have a fun bohemian vibe to them! The detail in this necklace from Jewel Jam is beautiful with the wood work that is peeking through the gold! So unique!
And if you know me personally I am always lounging around in my short shorts for summer! I know its not here yet so I love to pair a knit duster sweater with them in the mean time!

Cotton Candy

I shot this look back when Dusty and I were in California a couple weeks ago! What I would give to go back to this beautiful weather!! Dusty had a cocktail party and celebratory dinner for an award that he had won at work so we got to get a little dressed up! I am always looking forward to any event that we get to dress up for!
I love how this soft blue and bright pink pulled together. I was totally in love with this look and may just have to wear it again!
And congrats to my hard working husband for winning his award and taking us to Cali to be spoiled! Love you!

Today I just wanted to share this cute little look of Isabella's! I am beyond obsessed with baby infinity scarves! I think they are so fun year round. The plan was to have her wearing her cute scarf with this tank romper she has on. But Utah had other plans and decided to be cold and windy out of no where! But you will be seeing a lot more of this scarce come spring with some cute tanks as well!

Find your foundation

I have been doing a lot of research on foundation lately. And also using my own face as the experiment so that I could bring you all the best information possible! Each of these have been great but I have categorized them into what skin type they work best for in my opinion! Finding the right foundation can be a tough job. If you are unsure of what will be best for you I highly recommend going to Nordstrom and having them give you some samples to test out at home! I hope that this chart helps and remember that it all starts with good skin care, so be sure not to be skipping out on that step and your makeup with look a whole lot better.

Teint Miracle By Lancome: This foundation is more of a tinted moisturizer in my opinion. It can look nice and light and creates and effortless look. But what is also fabulous is that it is build able when in need of more coverage. When using this foundation I waited about 30 seconds after applying all over then applied more under the eyes and on any blemishes with a Beauty Blender. It is also very moisturizing!
Double Wear By Estee Lauder: Double Wear is fabulous for those looking for more coverage. I felt that it gave my skin a porcelain look and I fell in love with that! It comes in a huge range of colors which makes matching a dream. It looks fabulous on the camera so is great if you are planning on having photos taken. I have combination skin so for me I did have to apply a Powder in the t-zone area to avoid getting shiny.
Dior Airflash: Airflash is great for those of you who have Oily/Combo skin. It dries to a nice matte finish without leaving your skin looking dry. It feels so light on the skin being airbrush that it feels like you are wearing nothing at all. It is best applied in my opinion by spraying in a Kobuki brush (my favorite here) then buffing onto the skin. This is a full coverage makeup but feels and appears much lighter. It truly makes you look airbrushed.
Root Mineral Powder: This mineral powder is really great for any normal type of skin. You can build the coverage by applying over top of a lighter application.  What puts this mineral makeup above the others out there is that you can get a small amount wet and it will go on heavier as a concealer in the places you are needing a little more coverage.  I always keep this powder in my bag even when I am using a foundation listed above, for quick applications like running a quick errand or heading to the gym if my skin is needing a little bit of coverage without having to do a full face of makeup.
I hope that this helps you all find that perfect foundation fit. I am more than happy to help if you have
any questions!

Who else is loving some neon right now?! I know that I can not get enough of it! St. Patty's

We had big plans for St. Patrick's Day but the Utah weather had bigger plans. We had thought about going to the zoo and getting Isabella out! But the weather went from 60 to 40 in about an hour and we had a massive windstorm. So instead we went to Zupas and warmed up with some of their Irish Stew, which I highly suggest you run and grab some before they stop making it! It is so delish! Then headed to an indoor play park. On the way home Isabella saw the parked as we passed and gasped, she was so excited. I felt horrible so we made a quick 10 minute park stop and figured the perfect place to snap some photos of her in her green and gold duds.
This skirt she is wearing I tell you is even CUTER in person! And comes in a pink ombre as well! Perle Market Wanted to offer my followers a 20% discount code! Just enter dallaspeeps at checkout!
I also have to say Isabella is obsessed with her jewelry lately! She has a necklace on as often as possible and I think it is the cutest thing ever! I love this one from Lola and Darla Designs and J Crew also has some adorable kids accessories! All linked below.

Fab in Flats

Can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of spring? Being excited is an understatement!
Time to start packing away all the heavy winter boots and work into flats and sandals!!
It can be so hard to come across a pair of flats that I love and that are comfortable. Is anyone with me on the fact that sometimes flats make the most painful shoes?! Well not anymore. When I came across these Yosi Samra flats I knew I had finally found the perfect flats! And guess what is even better? They make them in Baby and Kid sizes!!
It was a very windy day for this shoot and I think Isabella was inspired by the wind be just as out of control! Let me tell you, taking pictures of this babe gets harder by the day! So much energy!
