Green Tea, Green Smoothie

I have finally decided to share my secret Green Tea, Green Smoothie Recipe!
It is honestly so yummy you will feel like you are having a little cheat. But no guilt necessary. I typically have mine after a workout to boost back up my energy and to get some protein back in my system. Not to mention perfectly refreshing for these hot summer months!
The recipe is super quick, easy and tasty! Just throw all of these ingredients in your Blend Tec and enjoy!

Recipe:
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1/2 cup frozen kale
1/2 cup frozen spinach
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp flaxseed
1 cup ice
1 packet crystal light peach mango green tea 
add water to desired consistency 

I buy all of the ingredients from Whole Foods other than the Crystal Light packets, which you can find at any grocery store.

  2. Do you freeze your kale and spinach your self or do you buy it from the frozen section? I have always been nervous to buy the frozen stuff.. If that is the type that you buy, do you think it tastes any different than fresh greens?
