Nautical Chic

I have always been and will forever be a big fan of stripes. I just love the simplicity of a good classic look.
I am also loving the details in my accessories for this look!
They are all about my love for being a mother, my necklace is Isabella's Birthday, and my bracelet is the adorable saying "There is no way to be a perfect mother, but a million ways to be a great one."
How true is that?! And don't we all need a little reminder sometimes being a mother?
What I also love about the bracelet is that you can interchange the sayings on your leather band!
Loving both of these items for Mother's Day Gifts!

Favorite Pieces

Taking it back to Cali again!
This look is super simple, just putting a few of my favorite key pieces together. We went to Knotts Berry Farm this day so I was all about comfort as well!
I am a sucker for a soft boyfriend tee that I can throw on with anything and Bobi has the softest tees that hang in such a flattering way even when they are a baggy fit! Definitely check them out! Link below.

This look was Easter Day.
It was such a fun easter weekend with family.
We had brunch at the Dodo Restaurant and stuffed our faces with seriously some of the best food around, then went to walk it all off at the Tracy Aviary.
Isabella is obsessed with the show "Rio" right now, so we thought where better to take her for some fun?
She was amazed with all the birds, mimicking their sounds, dancing around, and feeding them.
I think this may be the first Easter that I didn't wear a dress. I had to think about chasing around Isabella and what was going to be the most functional for that!

Dress: Bought last year because I could not pass it up! Cute here and here
Headband: Baby Jules Boutique
Saltwater Sandals: Navy Perl
Top: Bobi similar here and here
Shorts: TopShop for Nordstrom
Shoes: Sam Edelman

Egg Hunt

I hope you all enjoyed your Easter!
The holidays just seem to get more and more exciting the older Isabella gets! She had an absolute blast Easter Egg hunting and Dusty and I had a blast watching her! She was so excited to show us the eggs that she had found and was so sweet to make sure all the other kids had gotten some as well.
We have so much candy in this house we don't even know what to do with! So you may find us in a sugar coma for the next week or so:)
Although Easter is over I hope these fun colorful looks can inspire some Spring Fashion of yours!

Hey everyone! I am so excited to be back and writing an article for Food Fit Fab.
I wanted to talk about one of my main styles all through out these gorgeous sunny months.
I am all about bohemian trends in the summer. In fact I love bohemian styles year round but something about summer just screams at me to wear flowy, effortless pieces.
With music and art festivals all around you are bound to see a lot of this style through out the summer.
And be sure to experiment with it! There are no rules, mix baggy pieces with tight, go for an all baggy, flowy look, or a fitted maxi dress!
This is just one of my favorite looks that I have recently shot that captures what I love about Bohemian Chic.
Also below find my top 5 boho chic essentials to kick off your wardrobe!

Save vs. Splurge

As posted on Food Fit Fab

It always so fun to take a celebrity inspired look and create your own twist on it! And of course I kept in mind price point so the look is more achievable! This outfit was inspired by Miley Cyrus. Mixing a feminine skirt with an edgy jacket gives this look the perfect balance. If you are wanting to take it more casual you can always trade out the stilettos for a pair of combat boots or strappy sandals.
Miley was wearing a White dress as you can see below, but being that Radiant Orchid is Pantone's color of the year I couldn't resist when I came across this skirt!
You can find all the pieces to this outfit and their link below!
Remember you can take fabulous fashion tips from the stars without having to break the bank!
Have fun with your style and be inspired by all that is around!

Poncho Posh

Well although it is spring we have had some pretty cold weather. This chilly rain has had me running back to some of my favorite snuggly pieces! I wish you could all feel how cozy this poncho is. It is the softest most comfy piece of clothing I think I have ever owned! Also I love the different sleeve length than the typical poncho. Where it is shorter, it transitions so cute into the warmer weather with a pair of cut off shorts and gladiator sandals!
These Free People lace thermals are essential in my wardrobe! They are great for layering and adorable alone as well, not to mention flattering! (they were also a major have when I was pregnant since they are so stretchy!) I have started to collect all the different colors and styles!
Bare with me while posts jump from Winter to Spring! This weather is so indecisive!

That Blouse

You know when you find one of those pieces that you would wear every single day if you were able too? This Blouse is that piece! I am in love with everything about it! The perfect shade of blue, flattering, comfortable, and the slit down the back to give it just a little edge!
When I wore it out this night I had countless compliments! You must my friends, go get one for yourself! You will not regret it!
This look was also taken by my hubby back in California which I am missing so badly! So I had to include a photo of us at the end which was taken on a phone so I apologize for the quality!

Update this blouse has SOLD OUT! I am so sad. but I went in and tried on others in this brand to find one very similar and found this one. I am desperately hoping Nordstrom will restock to I can snag the other colors as well.
