Find your foundation

I have been doing a lot of research on foundation lately. And also using my own face as the experiment so that I could bring you all the best information possible! Each of these have been great but I have categorized them into what skin type they work best for in my opinion! Finding the right foundation can be a tough job. If you are unsure of what will be best for you I highly recommend going to Nordstrom and having them give you some samples to test out at home! I hope that this chart helps and remember that it all starts with good skin care, so be sure not to be skipping out on that step and your makeup with look a whole lot better.

Teint Miracle By Lancome: This foundation is more of a tinted moisturizer in my opinion. It can look nice and light and creates and effortless look. But what is also fabulous is that it is build able when in need of more coverage. When using this foundation I waited about 30 seconds after applying all over then applied more under the eyes and on any blemishes with a Beauty Blender. It is also very moisturizing!
Double Wear By Estee Lauder: Double Wear is fabulous for those looking for more coverage. I felt that it gave my skin a porcelain look and I fell in love with that! It comes in a huge range of colors which makes matching a dream. It looks fabulous on the camera so is great if you are planning on having photos taken. I have combination skin so for me I did have to apply a Powder in the t-zone area to avoid getting shiny.
Dior Airflash: Airflash is great for those of you who have Oily/Combo skin. It dries to a nice matte finish without leaving your skin looking dry. It feels so light on the skin being airbrush that it feels like you are wearing nothing at all. It is best applied in my opinion by spraying in a Kobuki brush (my favorite here) then buffing onto the skin. This is a full coverage makeup but feels and appears much lighter. It truly makes you look airbrushed.
Root Mineral Powder: This mineral powder is really great for any normal type of skin. You can build the coverage by applying over top of a lighter application.  What puts this mineral makeup above the others out there is that you can get a small amount wet and it will go on heavier as a concealer in the places you are needing a little more coverage.  I always keep this powder in my bag even when I am using a foundation listed above, for quick applications like running a quick errand or heading to the gym if my skin is needing a little bit of coverage without having to do a full face of makeup.
I hope that this helps you all find that perfect foundation fit. I am more than happy to help if you have
any questions!
